Don’t Miss Georgefest First Friday Events

Even the hardy team which runs Georgefest, the monthly St George street festival, had to take a break over the winter. They sprang back into action in March and are ready for residents and visitors to come and enjoy.

Admission is free, and you will be able to listen to inventive idea pitches from entrepreneurs finalists and see which ideas win in the end.  Held April 19th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm, there will also be refreshments served.

Spring Return Of The Ancestor Square Farmer’s Market

If you’ve been craving fresh produce, artisan crafts, and live music while spending time with friends and family, then you will be excited to know that the Farmer’s Market at Ancestor Square is returning May 12th. Enjoy the bright spring flower while haggling for some delicious produce and other items for sale. The market is free and open to the public every Saturday until the end of October, from 9 am to 12 pm.
